Mariel Couture was born as an expression of haute couture and bridal couture, where the gown is never merely a garment, but an artistic and sartorial gesture. At the heart of the maison lies a clear vision: to unite timeless elegance, Italian craftsmanship, and a contemporary sensibility capable of speaking both to the bride and to the woman who chooses couture for her most meaningful moments.
The creative journey of the maison unfolds through collections conceived as true narratives. Roma, presented at AltaRoma in the historic Palazzo Braschi, pays tribute to the era of La Dolce Vita and to Italian glamour of the 1950s and 1960s, when the Eternal City stood as the world’s stage for refined elegance, spontaneity, and iconic style.
In Milan, the maison develops two fundamental chapters. Afrodite, presented at Si Sposa Italia, becomes a bridge between classical mythology and the Italian Renaissance, inspired by Botticelli’s vision of beauty. Eterea explores an almost metaphysical dimension of bridal couture, where impalpable fabrics and precious details culminate in an extraordinary gown entirely hand-painted, transforming the dress into a manifestation of the soul.
Alongside aesthetic research, Mariel Couture has progressively developed a conscious and responsible vision of fashion. Aqua, presented in Milan during Fashion Week, stands as a poetic manifesto dedicated to the respect and preservation of the sea: its iconic piece, a gown made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, transforms waste into beauty, turning sustainability into message.
The same ethical tension is expressed in Airia, a bridal capsule presented on the terrace of the Campidoglio in Rome, during the Ethical Fashion Night of the IGFF. The collection places sustainability, responsible materials, and low-impact craftsmanship at its core, while preserving the grace and refinement of haute couture.
The maison’s vision is also distinctly international. Mon Amour, presented in Paris during the Paris Fashion Week and subsequently at Who’s Next, reinterprets the cocktail dress through sophisticated lightness: fluid silhouettes, balanced volumes, and hand-painted details that transform fabric into a living canvas.
The work of Mariel Couture has been featured in international publications such as Vogue Sposa, Rendez-Vous de la Mode, Collezioni, and Elle, and has been showcased through television programs and cultural events dedicated to fashion and art.
Today, Mariel Couture continues to evolve while remaining true to its core values: sartorial excellence, artistic research, and responsibility. Creations designed for women and brides who seek an authentic elegance — one defined by style, identity, and an absolute devotion to detail.
